Keluarga muda on mudik and whatnot

If I could write anything about going home it is about how much I always reflect on things (but ain’t really got time for that one this time)

I only go home once a year, first because it was far and expensive (taking yours truly, usually two days on normal basis) second because my medical school schedule didn’t let me to do it.

So yeah, a hoorayyyy that I actually can go home!

This year mudik -as waiting at the airport could be deadly boring- I took some time to make observations on those pemudik, especially all of the keluarga muda and their mudik with little baby. From my enlightening (but definitely exhausting) experience on pediatric department, babies are the kind of creature that get bored sooooo easily. So you have to have like billions things (and by things I mean toys) to keep them entertained because once they got bored they will scream and cry and roll themselves over the floor, doing whatever possible causing riot.  So for me these parents are cool (some of them have a bag under their eye bag, some really look like they have just conquer a typhoon – or maybe they did) for actually manage to keep their feet strong, standing on the ground.

And this just made me realize how strong we are all for our family (and we have to!) and how we should always love and cherish them in any way possible.

Yes I’m that one of those lucky dek koas to have that tiny little break that means a lot at this lebaran

So : SELAMAT HARI RAYA IDUL FITRI, MINAL AIDIN WAL FAIDZIN EVERYONE!

(The two women in my life, love them much!)

Then I have to go back because I have exam on this Tuesday. Boo. And another exam on Wednesday. Double boo.

This post supposed to be a long one, but nah exam is just around the corner but another nah because I really couldn’t help myself but post something on my blog *eyesrolling*.

If I could survive till this weekend, will spare you some good news  ;) (no, I am not gonna married within this year, thank you for your consideration)

The six months update (kind of)

Hi there,  It’s your R1-going-on-R2 here. HAHAHA. Dang.  I was looking at my phone wallpaper today, of Janik Sinner smiling from ear to ear, lifting the Australian Open trophy. The joy in his face was so pure, the excitement like he never imagined he would win a Grand Slam. Before it hit me, it was only six months ago. Yet, January and the beginning of this journey seem very distant. It feels like I have been here for at least a year and a half, yet the novelty and adapting keep happening. So, when the newest batch was getting welcomed, I couldn't help but think to myself, 'Really? That fast?' You see, the residency system relies on the continuity of knowledge passed through independent study, bedside teaching with attendings, and from senior residents to us, the juniors. But in all honesty, though the last six months have been packed for me (and except for the wittiness, the athletics, and the know-how), I am not sure I have enough clinical knowledge to pass on to these 1...

Setelah koas - Sepenggal 15210

Your "Dek Koas" for the next 21 months, yeay! Foto diatas diambil setelah pembekalan hari terakhir di RSUP Sardjito a.k.a masih jaim dan belum terpapar kehidupan koas yang....ugh. Gitulah....
